Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dentography. By creating an account, you agree to them. Read them carefully — a few sections are important.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Dentography, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

Dentography is provided to licensed dental professionals and their staff. You represent that you are a licensed clinician (or authorized staff acting on behalf of one) and that you will use the service only in the course of legitimate clinical work.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Enable two-factor authentication. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at security@dentography.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Credits & billing

Dentography operates on a credit system. Credits are the internal unit of consumption for AI generation. Image generations cost 7–30 credits; a 5-second video costs 90 credits; a 10-second video costs 180 credits. Free tools such as Crop & Rotate and Watermark cost zero credits.

• Subscription credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.
• Top-up credit packs, if purchased, do not expire.
• You can cancel at any time. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@dentography.io.

5. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of any images, videos, prompts, or other content you upload. You grant Dentography a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service to you. Outputs generated by Dentography from your inputs are yours — you may use them for clinical, educational, and marketing purposes (subject to Section 6).

6. Patient consent

You must obtain written, informed patient consent before uploading any patient photograph to Dentography. This is a non-negotiable requirement. Dentography provides free consent templates in 12 languages inside your dashboard — you are welcome to use them or a form of your own choosing, but consent must be in place before upload.

Before publishing any before/after content (including social media, your practice website, or printed marketing), you must additionally obtain written consent to publish. Consent forms for internal consultation use only are not sufficient for publication.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Dentography to: (a) generate content depicting a real person without their consent; (b) generate content of a sexual, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise unlawful nature; (c) misrepresent AI-generated content as unedited clinical documentation; (d) reverse-engineer the platform; (e) scrape, resell, or sublicense the service; or (f) violate any applicable law.

8. No medical warranty

Dentography outputs are consultation aids, not treatment guarantees. Generated mockups depict a plausible aesthetic outcome; they do not predict, promise, or diagnose. Dentography makes no warranty as to the clinical accuracy of any generated image, and no image should be used as a substitute for professional clinical judgement.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dentography and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Dentography's aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Dentography in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Data Processing Addendum

If your practice is a Covered Entity under HIPAA or a Data Controller under GDPR, our standard Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is deemed part of these Terms upon execution. Request a copy at legal@dentography.io.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Dentography may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, subject to reasonable notice where practicable. On termination, you retain 30 days of read-only access to export your gallery.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
